Athletes and Guns: Why So Hand in Hand? Athletes are not above the law they need to be treated like the rest of us. To me it is very simple, what would occur if I pulled a gun on someone. Most likely I would go to jail...the same thing needs to occur with anyone else regardless of who they are.
